Create a channel and a Shopify webhook

Log in to the Pushinator Console and create a channel (e.g., "Shopify Alerts"), or open an existing one. Obtain an API token if you don't have one yet.

Open the channel's API & Integrations tab, click Add webhook, give it a name, select the Shopify scheme, paste your API token, and submit.

Create a webhook subscription in Shopify Admin

Pushinator immediately shows you a webhook URL — copy it. Then, in your Shopify Admin, go to Settings → Notifications → Webhooks → Create webhook, choose the event you want to receive (e.g. Order creation), paste the URL in, and pick JSON as the format.

Repeat this step for every event you want forwarded (e.g. orders/create, products/update, customers/create) — you can point as many Shopify webhook subscriptions as you like at the same Pushinator URL.

Paste the signing secret back into Pushinator

After you save the webhook, Shopify reveals a signing secret. Copy it and paste it into Pushinator's Set Shopify signing secret dialog for that webhook (it opens right after creation, or later from the webhook's menu).

Subscribe your devices

Install the Pushinator app from the App Store or Google Play, then scan your channel's QR code to subscribe. From now on, matching Shopify events arrive as push notifications, e.g. "Shopify | New order #1234 for 49.99 USD" — if you connect several webhooks to the same channel, each one's name is used to tell notifications apart.
